IBCC 2022 – Day 4 – Minute by minute

Follow the events of the VII. IBCC minute by minute. We’ll be reporting the details of the competition on our website. We’ll be near the most important events and then from 23th April, we’ll provide live broadcast during the period of the competition from our studio on the site!

It’s the 4th morning of IBCC, and we have crossed the total catch of 10 tons. It looks the storm at night had a very positiove effect on the appetite of the carp. At the moment there is a level 1 storm warning on the whole Balaton, so our teams can use their boats until 500 meters. Our main competition is still being led by KerioBaits with 342kg, behind them in 2nd place is Trakker Team with 281kg.

YES! 30+
IBCC VIII is full of surprises!
From a spot that hasn’t really been popular before, Club Tihany, the Carpteam Gesa Tirol has bagged a perfect, beautiful 30.25kg common carp from their biating at a small distance, from approx. 140 meters. With this fish they also took the lead in the TOP5 competition.
Congratulations!

There’s really variable weather around Balaton, sometimes the sun is shining, sometimes it’s raining, but this kind of weather has a positive effect on the Balaton carp. We’re getting close to a total catch of 12 tons, the competitors have caught 1.330 measurable fish so far. https://contest.fishinda.com/team-total 1 KerioBaits 367.48kg 2 Carp Servis Václavík 308.31kg 3 Trakker Team 303.78kg

At the moment there is a level 1 warning on the whole Balaton, and a slow, persistent rain is making the anglers’ job more difficult. Tomorrow, sunshine and really warm, spring weather are returning. Over three quarters of the competitors, 208 teams have caught measurable fish. The leader board is very tight, teams are going shoulder to shoulder, there is often only one fish difference between them.

Another yellow card. Unfortunately the SPIRIT FISHING TEAM angling on PEG 113 has left their sector quite a bit, so they received a 12 hour ban.

We have a new Balaton and IBCC record! Today is a day of surprises, a second common carp over 30kg has been caught! VMFISHING angling at PEG 212 could bag a perfect 32.375kg common carp, and with it, they have taken the lead in our largest carp caught competition.
