The wonders of the IBCC
Many wonderful catches are associated with the teams of the IBCC, but the most fantastic of all is the triple catch only performed by the Lojzi DPH Carp Team so far. In 2020 the team managed to work almost wonder, when they caught 3 pieces of 20+ kg carps within a short time on the Siófok shore which was until then thought to be not too strong!
The strength of the wind
The participants of the IBCC had to face tough weather conditions more than once, but the 2016 edition will definitely be remembered, because that year due to the very strong northern winds the lake almost stepped out of its basin. We even had to postpone the start of the competition by a few hours.
The very last moment
Big things do often happen in the last moment, but so far only one team managed to pull off that feat! In 2015 Tibor Tulipán hooked one beautiful carp in the very last minutes of the competition, which was only landed after the final whistle of the competition under unbelievably exciting conditions. The catch was valid and this was the biggest fish of the I. IBCC.
