IBCC 2019 – Day 1 – Minute by minute

Follow the events of the V. jubilee IBCC minute by minute. We’ll be reporting the details of the competition on our website. We’ll be near the most important events and then from 13th April, we’ll provide live broadcast during the period of the competition from our studio on the site!

08:22 –The V. IBCC begins today at 12:00. The teams have occupied their encampment and they’re preparing their tackle. Right now the weather is gloomy and rainy, but Lake Balaton is rather calm.

 

08:37 – Don’t forget that you can rewatch the first broadcast of the V. IBCC today at 09.00 on The Fishing and Hunting Channel!

11:24 – The V. IBCC begins in less than half an hour. The teams are ready for the challenge. At the moment there’s a basic storm warning in all three basins. Therefore, using boats is allowed for the competitiors. The competitiors can place their rigs 450 m from the shore on the southern shore and 350 m on the northern shore.

 

 

12:09 – The V. IBCC has started! 140 hours of tough fight is waiting for the competitiors. Besides, our crew are on their way to make interesting films for the live show starting at 20:00.

 

 

13:41 –  Here’s the first catch. The first valid carp was caught by the CE Plaza Hotel Team fishing in Balatongyörök. The weight of the fish is 5,65kg!

15:49 – After a few hours we already have some really nice catch. Here are some, 18 kgs Common Carp from The One I. team. We came back soon with more news.

17:56 -Teams have more and more catches, it seems that early spring weather brings the carps’ appetite. Follow the latest results by click HERE!

18:55 – From 20:00 we’re awating you with  LIVE broadcast again, where our presenters will report about the most memorable events of the day. You can follow the broadcast on The Fishing and Hunting Channel, the Facebook page of the channel, and of course on the official IBCC website.
