IBCC 2019 – Day 0 – Minute by minute

Follow the events of the V. jubilee IBCC minute by minute. We’ll be reporting the details of the competition on our website. We’ll be near the most important events and then from 13th April, we’ll provide live broadcast during the period of the competition from our studio on the site!

08:00 – Today’s registration has started. Yesterday, 110 teams already went through the security check, where the compulsory equipment of the boats was checked by the marshals. The team which got the so-called BOAT CHECK  card can go on to the registration, where our colleagues record their data and check valid fishing licenses.

Every compulsory equipment which is on the list must be in the boat.

These are the cards that are placed on the boats. Without this, the team must not get on the water.

09:10 – The teams are arriving slowly. To ensure smooth registration, we suggest everybody make the boats and the compulsory equipment ready. Our colleagues will be happy to help you.

10:10 – This year more than 50 marshals will make sure that the competition is fair. Their work is supported by the supervisors of the National Federation of Hungarian Anglers. This morning, they’ll have a short meeting together.

11:00 – During the registration the teams draw a number which indicates the order of drawing pegs in the afternoon. They can occupy the peg that they’ve drawn Sunday morning. They’re going to compete there for 140 hours.

14:50 – Teams that haven’t registered have half an hour to do so, as at 15:30 the boat check and registration will have finished. In ceremony room, they’re preparing for the opening ceremony.

17:00 – In the opening ceremony, besides the greetings, the drawing of pegs has started, which has been awaited by many teams!
